Welcome to the Embassy of Zambia

HEhspAmbassador Mrs Grace M. Mutale Kabwe | I welcome you all to the Embassy of Zambia in Brussels. May I assure you that I would endeavor to enhance already existing good cooperation and contribute to the overall development of Zambia. Zambia is the safest and most peaceful country on the African Continent and prides itself with its friendly and hospitable people. The Zambian economy has been transformed into a free market devoid of price, exchange and interest controls. Zambia’s investment climate today is characterized by a stable macroeconomic environment, democratic political system, excellent laws and government’s good policies. Therefore, Zambia is one of the most stable and open economies in Africa for investment having eliminated import controls, hence fostered an open trade-regime supportive of export development and diversification. It is in this regard that I encourage all potential foreign investors to exploit Zambian’s immense investment opportunities and invest in all major productive sectors such as agriculture, mining, manufacturing, tourism, transport and energy. To our lovely Tourists; Zambia has a great deal to offer you. It provides a sample of relatively “untouched” Africa with authentically wild national parks, stunning scenery, and the Victoria Falls. Zambia tourism sector has grown to an immeasurable peak because of its social and political stability and is traditionally a preferred Tourist Destination. All tourists enjoy their visit to Zambia. To Zambians within the Benelux; I encourage you all to be open and free with my office and participate in the development of Zambia by sharing ideas and continuous interaction. I also urge you to engage with the mission to devise mechanism that will enhance Zambia’s visibility in the region.
